We will visit your factory soon, to carry out a Quality/Technical Audit. The purposes of the audit are:

1) To assess the Quality Management System in the factory, to check how well you control your product quality and product safety

2) To assess your technical and manufacturing capability and check what processes you follow to ensure that all purchase orders can be fulfilled on time.

It is WHSmith policy to only work with factories that have good controls and procedures in place, so that they can ensure product safety and product quality will be maintained to a consistent level. WHSmith 工作指引的政策是只會跟有良好控制系統和處理程序的廠商合作，因為這些廠商才可保證

To prepare for the Audit, please make sure that you have the following documentation available for review, where applicable:

Please make sure that the following factory employees are available in the factory on the day of the audit:

The audit will probably take 4 to 6 hours to complete, depending on the size of your factory and the range of products that you produce. Please ensure that the above employees will be available to assist during the whole audit, and to answer any questions that they might be asked. We will gather as much information as possible on the day of the audit to get a complete picture of your factory.
